The Washington Post
DID NOT
replace their "share on twitter" icon with a "share on Mastodon" link.
I saw an illustration that showed it. My mistake

This needs doing across the internet. Twitter is Alex Jones, twitter is Truth Social, twitter is Tucker Carlson.
CORRECTION: The image I saw must have been to illustrate a story, and NOT the WaPo changing links.

I am gratified by edit, hopefully this edit will propgate.

End twitter, promote freedom and the tusk, save the world.

@kevinrns @demvoter It still seems to be "share on Twitter" on their website:
@hughster @kevinrns @demvoter same here. Still Twitter.

@colo_lee @hughster @kevinrns @demvoter Here also.

Is it different in the app? Anyone have that?

@moira @colo_lee @hughster @demvoter

No it is my error, I saw a story illustration, not the WaPo change, I have also edited the original toot.

@kevinrns @moira @hughster @demvoter
Good for you. Well done.
I've seen wapo people say they're working on their own mastodon instance and they let reporters give mastodon address now. So seems like just a matter of time...
@moira @colo_lee Original post has been updated—see above…
@kevinrns Thank you for the edit to correct this—it's appreciated! (It would be great to see this feature though and I hope it'll come in due course…)
