I remember eying the #VampireTheMasquerade book but was working three jobs to put myself through college and couldn't justify it. Once the player's guide dropped, I bought them and ran Vampire for a decade fortnightly (One-week #Cthulhu and then Vampire). #TTRPGTimewarpTuesday
Fireborn. I remember loving this idea and buying the game from the FLGS on the spot. It's still something I've never run, but one day. #TTRPGTimewarpTuesday #FantasyFlightGames
This #TTRPGTimewarpTuesday is more of a have you heard of this one. I can't remember when I bought Fates Worse Than Death but it's been on my shelf for ages and I've never read it. Maybe it's time to change that and add it to my reading list.
@DHS I liked reading it when I was a teenager, but I don't think it's worth a thorough reading today. I think it's a weird artifact of a specific time in both science fiction and game design/writing, so it gets close to doing interesting things but consistently misses the mark.
