“There is no such thing as 'Herd Immunity' for COVID-19. It is a concept as antiquated as the 'Earth is Flat'. With the exception of smallpox, no pathogen has ever been eradicated from the earth and with smallpox, eradication was achieved with a highly effective long-lasting vaccine. SARS-CoV-2 appears to be the most adaptive and dynamic foe we have ever faced and hoping that the antiquated concept of 'Herd Immunity' will save the day, is just pure fantasy.” https://eu.courier-journal.com/story/opinion/2023/01/04/why-herd-immunity-is-as-an-outdated-concept-when-it-comes-to-covid/69750170007/

@geraldz It's not my content or IP. I can't republish someone else's content. (Curious why you can't reference it. I can see it, and I'm not s subscriber.)
@augieray @geraldz The newspaper’s web site lets you view a limited number (unspecified) of articles for free, unless you sign up for a free account (I chose not to), which still won’t let you see member-only (presumably paid subscriber) articles. I was able to read the article.
