I trust my wife's cookery skills and instincts as to the advantages of gas ranges (which we converted to in a remodel a several years back).

But I also acknowledge that the science is looking poorly on that choice from different angles, and that any changes we make to the household infrastructure (range, water heating, dryer) will be to electric.

@three_star_dave watching this discussion on "another site", everyone was saying, "well, did he measure it with the range hood fan on?" Which I think completely ignores the daily use of your gas oven, dryer, water heater, and furnace.

@mlecin We got an upper end range hood, which can suck up small poodles when on full (and has a mandatory vent to draw air into the house when in operation), so I'm not as worried about that contamination as both general principles and methane production.

We do have a gas furnace, though the basement is well-vented as well.
