If this does happen, is this processed on-device to improve future triggering and context, or do we know it’s sent to Amazon for profile building?

As the Alexa department financials show, there’s apparently no value to Amazon in the data they are being sent through people’s consensual use of these devices. The dept lost $10,000,000,000.

@Smutchings @guerda @6x6pix @marcink Amazon thought people would buy through Alexa. They don't. People want to see their cart and make sure before buying. Alexa and the like are good for queries - getting information - but not for transactions. So data mining or ads are the only possible business models for such devices.
