Here's the problem. By continuing to be active on Twitter, you're giving people there less incentive to move here. As a result, the value of Mastodon is sputtering along at a lower level than it should be. And those of us who have moved here start to think about going back to Birdchan.

Hughster@dkiesow @dankennedy_nu I've been pondering the same question. From what I can see, I worry the line for many heavily dependent users is "does it stop the site serving the purpose it always has for me", and that would see almost anything forgiven.
