@Mythplaced I found it interesting that they called what was in fact rum “whiskey” while I was in Thailand. It didn’t taste like rum, but neither did it taste like whiskey to me

The legal end of things comes from a combination of molasses and grain base. It happens in India as well which results in India being actually one of the worlds biggest consumers of and producers of whisky by volume.(not by quality)

@Mythplaced huh, interesting 🤔 I am not a big whiskey drinker I prefer makers mark when I do and Appleton estates is my run of choice
@voron Try the Woodford reserve (also wheated bourbon) but done in pot stills which pumps up the aromas.
