Now that inflation can't be used as a pretense, the Fed is going to have to just admit that what it's trying to do is take leverage away from workers who finally have a bit of an edge for the first time in our lifetime.

What if I tell you 2023 could be a deflationary year? You won’t believe me right ?

I also didn’t believe when I read this article until I calculated MoM CPI by myself.

Opinion | What if Inflation Suddenly Dropped and No One Noticed?

The high year-over-year rate masks progress in the past five months. But we’re not out of the woods.

Note the broken axle in the graph.

Inflation is down ~1% from peak, it's got another 5% to go before it reaches the inflation goal of 2%.

There is some concern that the FED may be overshooting the target, but it's definitely not obvious that they are.

But we'll definitely get a recession, the House republicans will make sure of that.

@lolgop Sadly they'll just keep pretending it's because of inflation and the media with just go right along with it.
@lolgop They go really crazy when wages (seem to) go up.

Putting people out of work frees up more people to mob up and increases their desire to eat the rich.

And the weather is about to get nicer, too.
