It's not very often that I come across a new release that so perfectly captures the sound and vibe of a bygone era. This track sounds like it could just as easily have dropped in 1993 as 2023.
As soon as I heard those metallic drums and acid synth lead (TR-707 and TB-303 respectively, if I'm not mistaken?), I was immediately transported back to some of my first experiences listening to electronic music in the halcyon days of the mid-90s.
Extremely well done! You've just earned yourself a new follower. 😊

I might have been inspired by the likes of Drax (Amphetamine) and CJ Bolland (Ravesignal III) for this one. ;)
707 hihats are in there yes, rest of drums is 808/909/MFB. Synth is not a 303, but close enough, it's a monophonic sawtooth of my own making put through chorus, flanger and phaser.
