A 6 year old in Virginia shot his teacher, who now has life threatening injuries. Gun nuts are Still arguing we need even More guns. Apparently the only way to stop a bad 6 year old with a gun is a good 6 year old with a gun.🙄

Here’s the thing. MAGA/GOP hold two wildly hypocritical positions:

1) We need unlimited guns to stop Govt tyranny.

AND

2) We 100% support the Govt as police kill 1100+ civilians annually—far more than every developed country on Earth.

Deadly hypocrisy. Vote GOP out.

Raising the age to 21 to buy a gun violates the Constitution.

Also, raising the age to TWENTY SIX to receive gender-affirming medical care from a physician is *necessary for the public welfare*.

BTW, what's the time-out for a 6 year old for shooting teacher?

@QasimRashid Gun rights, which I support, should go hand in hand with prosecuting people, esp people acting on behalf of the government, who misuse them. If #GOP opposed all police overreach, not just policing of their own crimes, I might support them.

You're exactly right. I'm #ProLife and think abortion is murder but I also think we need to kill 6 year olds because banning ANY TYPE OF WEAPON is Unconstitutional but killing 6 years old isn't!

I also think we should Suspend the Constitution when I lose elections.

@QasimRashid There is no such thing as a "defensive" weapon. All weapons are offensive; any use in defence is incidental. Guns are used to take life, whether human or animal. That may be justified in providing food but the weapon is still offensive. #gunviolence

@QasimRashid I recently had a conversation with a conservative about police violence. They really don't think of the cops as government employees. They also don't connect that if cops can shoot people like me without consequences, then they can shoot people like them without consequences.

@QasimRashid I agree AND we cannot phrase this as a bad six year old. They are a six year old. This child needs support, care, and forgiveness. This child will have consequences far worse than criminal punishment and we need to wrap around them to ensure a healthy stable life in the future. The teacher needs support and care and to be able to live a life without trauma around guns.

Dems can win statewide and national elections, which is essential to control Senate & White House.

Somehow there needs to be a way to get electable Dem/Progressive candidates on ballot, and elected, in RED states and heavily gerrymandered districts.

Winning all contested districts would help, too.

It's the only way to Vote GOP out.
