If you legitimately have no power to change things, you don’t live in a democracy.

To those who consistently say, defeated, “there’s nothing I can do,” ask yourself if you think there’s nothing you can do because you don’t want to or if you’re actually proposing that democracy no longer exists in your country.

@godlessmom I'm not sure that democracy ever existed in the US. From the start only a small part of the populace had voting rights. We only vote on representatives, not actual laws. It seems that all politicians are bought by some other powerful person or group. The whole thing seems like a really big, long running reality show to distract the workers from what our nobles (wealthy people) are doing. Effectively little different than the systems of the past.
