@jaxPYL@IAm_THEPaulina@Dan_Blue_OC2CO they are teenage boys. There’s more grunting and growling happening. Lol I do get “we are ready” when it’s time to leave for school. 🤣
@amandacsb2@jaxPYL@IAm_THEPaulina Many highschool kids grunt and growl in the mornings. Our job is to grunt and growl louder until they start doing their work.
@amandacsb2@jaxPYL@IAm_THEPaulina There are two kids (the ones battling each other) that come in foul moods every day. We now have strict schedules to separate them as much as possible. Thankfully, the more aggresive one graduates in about 85 days. Not that we're counting.
@amandacsb2@jaxPYL@IAm_THEPaulina Several of our kids can get violent when they are escalated. These two would get violent with each other daily if they were on their own. Even our SPED teacher that has been doing this for 30 years has never seen anything like it.
@jaxPYL@amandacsb2@IAm_THEPaulina It's tough at times. Some of these kids learned that aggression was rewarded with appeasement. There was so much turnover among paras and so few were willing to stand firm, that giving in became the norm.
@amandacsb2@IAm_THEPaulina The plows are part of the problem. They only clear a single lane in residential areas and pile snow in front of driveways and curbs.
