Feeling a bit low at being asked to audition for a 7 line part I turned, hoping for some wisdom, to the latest of my Dad’s journals that I’m slowly reading, I’m up to 1997. I kid you not the second entry that I came across began, “I duly did my one day on What Rats Won’t Do today. It wasn’t exactly difficult. I hope my 7 lines are a) retained in the finished film and b) satisfactory.” I guess that’s told me - suck it up kid!
