Spotlight search on my 2018 iPad Pro has been slow — sometimes really slow — for months. This persisted even after upgrading from iPadOS 15 to 16.

For example, when, connected to a keyboard, if I invoke ⌘-Space, then type “maps”, it sometimes takes several seconds before I see any results at all, let alone the Maps app. But then once Spotlight is “warmed up”, I get search results quickly. Anyone else seeing this? Solutions?
