Sometimes I wonder how much of the web is being held back by print-based creative directors who migrated to management-level design roles at large enterprise organizations and refused to learn anything about their new medium.

@ericwbailey Some time around 1994 I coined WYSIOP -- What You See Is One Possibility.
Of course CSS was in it's infancy then so pixel-perfect wasn't even a thing.

@svgeesus I'll never forget Firefox letting you toggle different stylesheets and the, like, two sites that actually supported it.

@ericwbailey Chrome applies all of them at once. I added an alt red-green stylesheet to a W3C tech report and got complaints about "ugly colors"
