You don't have to be a House member to be Speaker.

Dems should nominate Obama.

@tprophet @rbreich You’re probably correct but surely there’s more than a few Republican members concerned about their party being held to ransom by a group of conspiratorial anarchists whose aim is to undermine government and destroy democracy. This would be the smartest and simplest way of saving the Republican Party from destroying itself and the USA.

@jeremy_pm @tprophet @rbreich that ship has long sailed and left with Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, they were forced out. The GOP are no longer "conservative" in a lot of people's eyes.
