@Skwerl @sethcotlar seriously my kids watched School House Rocks. Their understanding of civics far out paced the law students I taught. I started assigning episodes to my first year classes. That show and others of that time were excellent educational tools...which is why they got cut.

@Skwerl @sethcotlar Ah...the House clown show....well that's a longer story but in a nutshell imo this is the battle White America is having with its soul. Trump opened the door to a repressed sense of "where do we fit in a modern world?" Some want to stay in the old world where oppression ruled and some want to move forward. In the past two years the fight erupted in public and is still ongoing. I don't know which side will win frankly. That's too short but hey word limits are what they are.
