From the 1943 film, “Stormy Weather,” the clip also features Cab Calloway and Orchestra playing “Jumpin’ Jive.”

Childhood prodigies, The Nicholas Brothers don’t get nearly the recognition they deserve. They were truly astonishing to behold!

@Deglassco @erinfulmer @jonpainterphoto Not true. No rehearsal would have been dangerous for them and the production crew. If you know how movies were produced then, you can see that this was filmed in quite a few separate segments. The NB were extraordinary enough without these silly and easily disproven hyperboles.

@Deglassco @erinfulmer @DemocracyMatters @jonpainterphoto 1/2 I keep seeing those claims. Unless it was rehearsed, the cameras would not have been able to make the moves that they did and the non-dancing performers would not have been able to stay out of the way.
