The current prevailing theory is that physical copies of music are actually merch. That is, your LP/Cassette/Minidisc/CD is probably not the way the music will be listened to, but will be more like a poster or a display item.

So what physical format for an album would you be most intrigued by? (And feel free to reply with whether or not you agree with the physical-media-is-merch theory)
