SJWell I did NOT get laid off today, but I do have a new manager.
I'm still on vacation today, so I wouldn't even have known shit was going down if my old boss hadn't texted me. But she's terrific and knew I'd hate being blindsided next week. I miss working for her. She actually gave a shit about me.

@ghost_bird Yeah, layoffs fucking suck, though this one is not a surprise. This company does three months salary as severance in layoffs, so I'm hopeful those folks will be okay.
