Hey Fediverse, I'd love some feedback on my holiday project!

I'm experimenting with replacing my Wordpress blog with something I wrote over the holidays in Jekyll that's less of a pain-in-the-butt to maintain. I'm pretty happy with it at this point, and will likely cut over soon. But I want to make sure others agree with my assessment that it works well.

Current blog is https://blog.skullsecurity.org

Beta for my new blog is https://jekyll.skullsecurity.org

I'm trying to keep the permalinks and stuff to not ruin old links. I'll probably eventually migrate my wiki and other pages, as well.

The coolest feature, IMO, is using Mastodon for comments - you can see the comment threads on my bot account @skullsecurity (I just created 4 for now), and any replies show up as comments in Jekyll.

Source code is https://github.com/iagox86/blog.skullsecurity.org

What do you think? Decent replacement? Am I forgetting something important?

@iagox86 @skullsecurity Great work! Less work *and* less attack surface all at once!
