That's why I roll my eyes and groan every time this issue comes around.

We can reduce population, but China is evidence that mandates work out badly for people and society.

Broadly available birth control and reproductive health care will move the needle on global population, as part of a suite of policies, but as the solutions are generally hyperlocal, that's where the decisions need to flow from.

That means everyone needs to be as well educated as they have time for.

So we need to stem the tide of anti intellectual politics. Considering what they have cost us, I believe the time has come to send the Calvinists and con artists to the ashbin of history.

Audit churches strictly; tax those who do not comply. The benefits of clergy must go to those actually doing the work. That ain't any televangelist!

We need a government that provides the means for folks to do for themselves with less telling them how it's done.
