Primarily Black bodies being harmed for entertainment. Enriching primarily white people who own the teams.
Kinda reminds me of something but I can't quite put my finger on it.
RockyC@JenWojcik It’s not primarily Black bodies. It’s primarily Black bodies at this moment in time. There was a time when Black people were excluded from ALL professional sports and had to fight to be included.
I quit watching American football as soon as I started seeing stories about traumatic brain injury and CTE. The NFL will claim that they have adjusted the rules to make the game safer, but I don’t believe any of it. 
The NFL is horrible. It is the worst of capitalism in a neat little package, including the vertical integration from the university system, who benefits from all that unpaid labor.
Basketball and baseball are the same, but the NFL is especially egregious.
