Next time the #NFL even hints that they care about player safety, remember that they gave both teams 5 minutes to warm up and get back in the field. Sean McDermott and Zac Taylor shut that noise down.
The only conversation Goodell should be having right now is apologizing to both teams for that shit move and begging them for their forgiveness.

Who made the call the game would resume? Based on what information?
Who made the call for 5 minutes warmup period? Based on what information?
A person made the decision, not the NFL.
I understand the criticism of NFL. Also know right now is an emotional time and very little information is available.
@Goappstate Based on the reporting from ESPN and the all the various beat reporters on site, the initial decision was reported as a 5 minute warm up, then back to the game. And the world collectively went WTF.
The coaches shut that down.
Since the “NFL” ultimately issued the statement about the cancellation, I’m fine with criticizing the NFL for this. Sure, we can start naming individuals, but the organization - and their previous lack of regard for players - deserves the heat.
