@MicheleV_AK So frightening! What a nightmare for his family and teammates!
@boomercatmom I know!! And his mom was in the stadium watching the game. Took too long to cancel the game.
@MicheleV_AK She was there? What a shock, but at least she can be with him. I don’t know anything about sports, but by the looks of the other players, the game should have been stopped quicker.
@boomercatmom Yes, his mom was at the game tonight so she saw all of this. A press release from Damlin's rep said his vitals are back to normal, but he has been intubated while tests are run. I don't know what that means, but he's alive and his heart is beating. It was believed to be a heart related issue that may have been caused by the hard hit to his left chest.
@MicheleV_AK @boomercatmom I just hope he wasn't without sufficient oxygen for too long.
@AmbularD @boomercatmom He was given CPR and AED on the field. From what I have read, his vitals are strong, but he is on a ventilator. It was a cardiac arrest from being hit so hard at the wrong time in his left chest.
