bruhbeansHow old is the cat? I had one that lived to be 20+; the last few years, she was too achy to be able to lick and clean along her spine, so the fur matted there unless we brushed her down vigorously every day.
She's pretty young. Under 8 years old. We think she got soap or something on her from sitting in the sink and that's what caused it.
