The #January6thCommittee just had to rescind several Congressional subpoenas, because Trump and his co-conspirators successfully ran out the clock.

The blame for this falls squarely on @SpeakerPelosi, whose failed strategies to not subpoena members of Congress, to not send the Sergeant at Arms to make arrests, and to instead slow-walk the #January6thInvestigation until after the midterms — backfired spectacularly, costing us the House and her her job.

Good riddance, Nancy. You were an enabler.

@scenario @SpeakerPelosi thank you! Everyone kisses her ass but nobody talks about the damage she did with her beliefs stuck in 1981. She also delayed and fought against impeachment and then sabotaged it so we didn’t get our best effort. And consistently fought against and silenced any shred of progressive ideals that came up. She’s the dem leadership that everyone complains about.

@twitterreject @SpeakerPelosi She’s on record saying Trump wasn’t worth impeaching, and that his crimes should be litigated at the ballot box. She tapped Bennie Thompson to chair the J6C because he was slow-witted. And to be sure, she directed him to schedule hearings a year out. Her only legit skill is fundraising. And other Democrat (Schiff, Raskin, et al) would have had Trump in prison a year ago, and the entire Sedition Caucus expelled from Congress.

@scenario @SpeakerPelosi wow I only knew some of that. She is really good at keeping the party doing what establishment leaders want too. Crushed anything progressive.
I read an article saying she witnessed dems crushed in 1980 when they had been moving left so she believes voters have same beliefs and are centrist, despite all polling.
She went from being a top liberal rep to a conservative establishment dinosaur. She is exactly what’s wrong with dems

@scenario @SpeakerPelosi she’s not my district. I totally understand the sentiment though. My guy was a “progressive” rep who was out kissing cops asses shortly before election. I know we can’t have perfect candidate but police reform is a huge issue and every single dem sold out on that. Even Stacey Abrams which blew my mind. That’s what happens when people like Pelosi run the party
