@black_intellect even if we were to play Devil’s advocate and assume that these clowns aren’t racist, we can still safely say that they definitely need the racists to think they’re racist if they want to win.

@black_intellect. The good news is that they will lose again, as they always have. Trump just got really lucky in 2016. He only got to play president for four years because of an archaic and ineffective feature of our Constitution.
@black_intellect Is is possible that DeSantis and Trump will split the vote for the republican nomination and a more reasonable republican will surface?
@JoAnn it's possible but not probable given the lack of courage by the few more moderate Republican elected officials to combat the more extreme folks in their party. They also would struggle to attract wealthy GOP donors for their candidacy. Look at the experience of folks like Jeb Bush & Kasich in the '16 GOP primary
