Over the year change, we always do a big family planning session for the year — trips, vacations, special activities like renovations etc.

I find this works best when thinking in weeks, not months, and being able to see everything at once. So I always print a large, 5-6 pages weekly year calendar and we sit around it and plan together.

It's really nice to see the whole year at once!

If the mental shape of your year is rather circular I have this one on offer. It is meant as a rough overview rather than detailed planning however and it might not fit a whole family:) I usually print it poster sized.

@flavio I have a perverse request. How hard would it be for you to make this circular calendar but going anticlockwise with December 31 at the top? Because that's how my weird brain visualizes the year.
@Zarkonnen that's fucked up! Kidding, you're not the first one to request this. I've seen all combinations of winding order and orientation by now. But I couldn't say which is the most common way. I've added it here https://github.com/Flave/circular-calendar/blob/main/print/2023_CCW.pdf
