Tip: when you don't need to provide your real phone number at account registration (there are not a lot of sites for which you should imho), just don't. Today received a parcel and on the package label my (fake) phone number was printed.

@j_opdenakker with most phones supporting a second sim / eSim now you can have a second number for putting in websites in case they do need to contact you and if it all goes wrong, just get a new one.
@j_opdenakker you know I often wonder why they need my phone number they say to secure you account but that’s bull it’s just that the want to know everything about you even how much money you make.
That’s none of there business it’s just spying and a invasion of you privacy.
Just like those smart speakers yeah they are realy nice but also give them the tool to listen to your conversations you have with friends. When is this gonna end I say bomb them
