http://cyberfeminismindex.com is launching in book form this month (locally to me, anyway). Something that really resonated from Mindy Seu's interviews about the project was the idea/practice of gathering:

Mindy Seu teaches Yale MFA class On Gathering, where she credits another favourite speculative fiction author:

« In reference to Ursula K. Le Guin’s Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction, we will position the first tool as the basket, a tool for communion, rather than the spear, a tool for domination. We will question the curatorial and political role of the collector ... as well as the form of the container ... and how they might be shared with specific communities. »

Paired with Mexican-Lebanese architect Josefina Mena Abraham's ‘Matriarchive’ (see: https://whiteboxnyc.org/2022/9b9/matriarchive-curated-by-yohanna-roa/), I've been thinking more about how necessary it is to write regularly, take all kinds of notes (on napkins if need be), and document the ideas, references and inspirations that present themselves daily.

I'm hoping to use this space for some of that gathering.
