I intended my first hour a day practicing my art to be colour pencils + papers. Unfortunately my ability to calculate how long a job will take tripped me. I wanted to start the new year finishing off a long lost project, and the gingerbread house seemed ideal. Seemed. Either I take up gingerbread decoration on a monthly basis, or I stomp on this and become a hermit in Siberia. Roughly one million hours spent.
