Kari MaarenHappy New Year! Here is one of my favourite birds, the Indigo Bunting, from way back in August. It is basically the bird in the fairy tale that leads you into the forest, either towards or away from the witch.

@anathema_device That is the question. When the Indigo Buntings turn up for mating season, every photographer in the area spends a few weeks stalking them. They are ridiculously, bewilderingly blue. I haven't mucked around with the colour of the photograph at all; the bird is just that blue.
