I love progressives, but as California is about to get a trillion plus gallons of desperately needed rain l the knee jerk “but how much of that will wash away!!!!” Is why we don’t have more political power. We must find some way to allow joy to flourish.

@lackattack totally. It’s an opportunity! I’m just talking about instinctual need to hand wring everything. Also, we’re gonna get a ton in the next 10 days so… Rain barrel opportunity still out there.

@JeffLieber what we need is rain in the reservoirs and atop the sierra peaks where it can be reserved or become part of the watershed.
Anyway… rain is good. But if we suddenly move too much in the other direction, it can be dangerous.
So… there’s possibly good and bad… but it’s looking better for now!
