I observe that the former sign shop (next to the A-1 Key Shop/Keewee) on Snelling just off Selby is going to be a dispensary. Guessing they’re betting on full legalization soon enough, though I suppose just edibles and related products might be enough. It’ll be interesting to see how many shops open up if the legislature does indeed fully legalize it.

In other Snelling Avenue notes, this is the outfit that bought the just-closed Sweatshop Fitness building. (~14,000 square feet, including the Patisserie space I assume.) They’ve done some nice projects:

@safeandsilent yeah, our old hometown in western Mass is like that. I think they had 11 dispensaries in a town of ~30,000. Nuts.
@billchilds Toronto Star says there is now 425 in Toronto, compared with 421 Tim Hortons (the it's-everywhere coffee and donut place). Too too too many.
