My year in books. Honestly think I read more than this but forgot to keep track of a few @bookstodon #booksof2022
@CurlygirlCaro silly question, but what app is this a screenshot of?
@CurlygirlCaro @bookstodon MAUS is an amazing comic book. The animal symbolism reminded me of Redwall, but in WWII
@bloodymar @bookstodon I picked it up to try to understand why it’s been on so many banned books lists. Still don’t understand that.
@CurlygirlCaro @bookstodon My guess would be similar reasons The Diary of Anne Frank was banned.
@CurlygirlCaro @bookstodon Great Circle was my favourite read of 2021! Some excellent looking books here
@CurlygirlCaro
Nice selection! I read and enjoyed a fair proportion of those. I love #LouiseErdrich and her book that I especially loved this year was #TheNightWatchman, loosely based on the true story of her grandpa's advocacy for their band.
@CurlygirlCaro @bookstodon Seven Husbands ended up being one of my tap favs!
@catherineelizabeth @bookstodon it was fun and fluffy but I felt it lacked real characters. Quick read though and entertaining
@CurlygirlCaro @bookstodon oh I didn’t feel it was fluffy at all. I always enjoy her characters and feel they are very thought out.
@catherineelizabeth @bookstodon I realize I’m definitely in the minority here 🙂
@CurlygirlCaro @bookstodon meh it’s an opinion and a feeling and it’s not wrong if it’s yours. 😉
