AndrewA couple weeks back my child accidentally dropped my Switch, destroying my right (White) Joy-Con in the process. Since you can't just replace the white ones, I decided to buy new White shells and swap my gray ones into the new shells. It's my first #joycon #shellswap!

@jaykass It sure is. Next step: I ordered a replacement motherboard for the damaged right white joy-con, and once that arrives I will swap the old whites into new black shells.
@8bitacrylic my switch is a day one (midnight launch) preorder. When I ordered, only gray was available. I was stoked that a kid (relative to me, probably in his 20s) wanted to swap for the blue/red system he had ordered.
@jaykass Same - I only got Gray because it was the only option. I bought Neon Green/Pink Splatoon ones soon after, and also the Zelda special edition ones. The white were my fourth pair.
@8bitacrylic I'm still on the original pair, sorta. I've had them replaced for drift but got same colors back. I have purchased 2 pro controllers though.
@jaykass I lost a pro controller trying to repair it for drift myself. Now I have an 8bitdo ultimate wireless controller which I like quite a bit.
@8bitacrylic I've got several retro 8bitdo controllers. SNES, Genesis, Arcade stick. 😁
