My Lucid Air is getting wrapped this week. So I needed to drive the X up to Vandy instead.

It’s weird how quickly I got used to 500 mile range. 300 on X isn’t enough.

While FSD beta is nice, I had a ton of required disconnects which is far more jarring than the Lucid. FSD can do a lot more, but Dream Drive is a much smoother experience.

The driving performance of the X is trash compared to the Air. Not a fair comparison since different types of vehicles.

The X charges so… much… slower… than the lucid. 300 miles in ~20 minutes on Lucid. 300 miles in NINETY minutes on X???

My X creaks and squeaks a lot. My Air is whisper quiet.

It’s also legit a bit jarring to charge the Tesla X battery to 100%, get in, and realize that I still have quite a bit less mileage than when I charge my Lucid Air to 80% for daily driving.

It’s dumb cause I drove with Teslas for the better part of a decade… but somehow now I have a weird renewed range anxiety because of it? Weird brain is weird.

@PhotonEmpress
Killing battery when charged 100%. Stop at 85%.
@Hash need to for these long road trips. Else I’ll have to supercharge too much.
@PhotonEmpress @Hash 500 miles is the new 250 miles range. ;)
