My Lucid Air is getting wrapped this week. So I needed to drive the X up to Vandy instead.

It’s weird how quickly I got used to 500 mile range. 300 on X isn’t enough.

While FSD beta is nice, I had a ton of required disconnects which is far more jarring than the Lucid. FSD can do a lot more, but Dream Drive is a much smoother experience.

The driving performance of the X is trash compared to the Air. Not a fair comparison since different types of vehicles.

@TimHoyer back in the day we had a couple of fire sales. Buy a car on the lot *today* and you get autopilot for free and early beta access to FSD when it comes out.

I took them up on that offer. Never got early FSD. In fact JUST NOW got it in that car, even after emailing and asking about it.

Was super lame. I was excited to test. Felt lied to. Was the first big knock in my Tesla experience. The X was the second. And third.
