BIG NEWS: I am introducing a bill to require candidates to disclose under oath their employment, educational, & military history so we can punish candidates who lie to voters about their qualifications.

It will be called the Stop Another Non-Truthful Office Seeker (SANTOS) ACT.

@RitchieTorres You would have thought that it would be a given considering it is wilfil misrepresentation or fraud. It appears, that like most things that the US is behind the rest of the world. In the UK, the Eu Australia and South Africa, if you are caught, you could expect up to 5 years for fraud and/or a fine
