In 2014 Ohio a Cop shot and killed Tamir Rice—an unarmed 12-year-old Black boy—claimed self defense, and was acquitted. He’s out free without facing any accountability.

In 2022 Ohio a white man shot and killed Sinzae Reed—an unarmed 13-year-old Black boy—claimed self defense, and Cops won’t even charge him. He’s out free without facing any accountability.

This is what systemic white supremacy looks like. We’re moving backwards.😓

@QasimRashid to be clear Tamir rice had a play gun with the safety colored end cut or broken off. Loehman shot too fast on arrival claiming it looked real - but who gives a 12 year old a play gun modified to look real?

@mike_minnesota so to be clear, he was unarmed. No need to insinuate a murdered child was at fault.

@QasimRashid @[email protected] pulled up and shot him in less than a second. Did nothing to assess the situation or try to get him to put his hands up or anything. Shoot first is what these guys do when they see a black person.
