I wonder how many people who use the #fediverse primarily as another crossposting / distribution feed know how many of us have a beautiful filter for "RT .@" (except obv without the dot (hello filter frens))

For real, I am interested in connecting with people posting #OnHere and actually engaging; not treating #mastodon like some marketing channel to just dump your #twitter retweets.

I have absolutely no qualms with people sharing stuff from other platforms (and I'm happy to see relevant stuff from elsewhere), but take the time to intentionally quote or screenshot it cause it's a post _for_ the fediverse.
