I’m seeing post on Twitter about people being “embarrassed” to drive a certain car because the CEO of the certain company is a moron. Who cares! Do you like the car!?!? Or do people just buy them for clout? #DoBetter
A car is just a car. It doesn’t care who said what, or bought what to do that. It’s just a car. They’re just things (cool things), but they’re not important and you’re using them to define you as a person or what you stand for…. Do you really believe anything?

@Thecarhoarder I don't think I fully agree with this. I think that when you live in as much of a car-centric society as we do, the car you choose to own is absolutely a reflection of your priorities and preferences. The car you drive makes a statement about you as much as the clothes you wear.

It definitely sucks for those people who bought a car under one context and then had a certain juvenile Muppet recontextualize it to something very different.

@wheeljack I like this. It’s just a shame that it works like that. A perfect world I can have my Prius and my super duty without anyone judging me about my “priorities”. But my lifestyle also supports both vehicles so…
