Just waited for an hour at CVS to be told that, despite their website saying boosters were available for children 18 months and up and letting me book, they refuse to give us one.

MyTurn's scheduling tool, of course, says that boosters are only available for children 5 and above, despite them being authorized by CDPH (the organization that runs MyTurn) two weeks ago, and despite the "vaccine eligibility chart" on MyTurn saying that they're authorized for children 6 months and above.

Sutter Health (the monopoly that runs almost all of the non-Kaiser hospitals in the Bay Area) won't schedule one on their website, but I called someone and they made an appointment for us tomorrow; we'll see if they actually honor it or if this turns out to be a repeat of today's CVS debacle.
