Crazed Tik-Toker's Tirade Against University Professor Raises Fact v. Opinion Issue

The Popehat Report

@Popehat I hold in my hand a paper with incontrovertible evidence that Ken is a convicted squirrel-importuner!

What, I'm being sued for defamation? Okay, here's the paper: "3 of Cups = guilty ".

Can't anyone accused of defamation just claim a mystical source if they're called on it?

@alanh No, because then you're not disclosing the facts you're relying on. You're implying (false) facts. The distinction is here the TikTokker is SAYING it's based on tarot.
@Popehat @alanh

@Popehat @alanh
And if the claim is based on having seen the records of the Pennsylvania Squirrel Importuner Commission. which I believe and hope does not exist?
