@aks Looks like it's because of the UFOI stuff that your instance appeared to take part in which was lead by a guy that probably meant well but is a well known dickhead.

And we have nothing to do with it either.

Helping where I can. And that UFoI thing seemed OK on the surface, until it didn’t. It was probably well intended.

Yes, it was at one point. But we strongly declared our distance to it.

@selea @lucifer @aks I don't think very many admins go out of their way to see if fediblocks are still sensible once they put them on.

This instance has been suspended because "it is a techbro instance" - well.

@selea @lucifer @jay @aks There was someone who insisted on blocking any instance that appeared on UFOI even if it was no longer a part of it, which is just annoying.

@oklomsy @lucifer @aks @selea I also seem to remember when it first popped up, that some instances listed weren't even consulted or asked about it... unless I'm thinking of something else...?

Calculator was ummm… quite vocal. Freemo’s responses were unhelpful.

I personally, wont spend any time trying to convince them to unsuspend this instance then.

I make misstakes, and I am grateful when people reach out and point things out.

@selea @lucifer This is why you are an amazing instance admin, people that block instances very rarely change their minds, you know that but you also know not to waste your time and energy like freemo.
