amroI’m told Twitter is down. This is a day or two after they reportedly shut down[1] one of 3 data centers.

I was told one DC was actually shutdown (through which APAC traffic was routed) and that caused a bunch of DNS issues on it's own. I guess that's the SMF DC?
Does this mean there are only two left? And if one of the two goes off, wouldn't this just render the 2nd node also inoperable?

@albattran Yes, that would mean 2 left. I think it depends on which of the two remaining DCs goes down. They’re not equal in terms of capacity as I understand it. But really this isn’t my expertise and I’m going off Tweets I read.
