Help me out disability mastodon. I'm a mom to a 7mo and want to leave the house more with her. I've basically spent the last three months in bed and my energy is returning. My strength, however, is at square one. How the heck am I supposed to leave the house when I can't lift the stroller in and out of the car and can't lift the baby carrier with her in it? Ideally an answer that doesn't involve buying expensive new gear, and baby wearing isn't viable for my back, I need the stroller.
@Alyshelchi @bunnyhero not disabled but I had a lot of baby to lug around. If you can lift the car seat with the baby in it, you can get a stroller frame that the car seat fits into. Then the baby goes from the car directly into the frame while still in the car seat. The frames are super inexpensive. I had a double one for my twins and I think it was less than $100. They are also very light. This kind of thing https://www.verywellfamily.com/best-frame-strollers-4153853 Best of luck to you!

@monicarooney @bunnyhero unfortunately this is already my system, though the stroller it fits into is heavier than pictured. I struggle to lift her in the car seat carrier, I can move it from stroller to car and back but can't carry it. Maybe I can ask on buy nothing for a small stroller like you showed.
@Alyshelchi @bunnyhero they work with lots of car seats because you just strap them in. I hope you can find something.
