JKR has become a hateful person, but there is ZERO excuse for the violent rhetoric from the screenshot below.

Imagine tweeting about your desire to see a woman put to death and your wanting to have a role in it, and thinking you're one of the good guys as @[email protected] does. Fortunately, the internet has a long memory and casting directors use Google.

@TomatoSoup Do you mean JKR is a hateful person, or a person whose views you hate?
@MichaelLeuty that she has become a hateful person, as I said.
@TomatoSoup Seems a bit harsh.
@MichaelLeuty unfortunately it's fitting for her conduct
@TomatoSoup She certainly appears to defend her views in a vigorous fashion.
@MichaelLeuty unfortunately her views are based on an ignorance and she frequently spreads lies and misinformation, stoking division and promoting bigotry.
@TomatoSoup That does sound regrettable, I agree.
@MichaelLeuty it's very unfortunate the amount of hateful conduct she intentionally stirs up.
@TomatoSoup I confess to a lot of ignorance about these matters, so I'll have to take your word for it. We certainly agree that threats of violence are not a good way of conducting an argument.

@MichaelLeuty 100%, no amount of JKRs conduct justifies violence.

She actively perpetuates the lie that women's rights and trans rights are mutually exclusive, rather than natural allies.

@TomatoSoup I haven't followed the arguments closely, as I said. I agree that all women, whether trans or not, are human beings whose wellbeing should be fostered. Unfortunately the arguments seem to be producing more heat than light at present. But I am optimistic that a way forward will eventually be found.
