@luckytran completely agree but to add insult to injury most of the new strains aren’t turning up on nasal swab tests. It’s as pointless as checking someone for a fever.

Hi. Can you verify this, because what I've read (eg: Nathaniel Hager PhD, UMass Chan Medical School) says the component of the virus that the antigen tests detect is the same, so tests, if done properly, should work. Thanks!

Ah - thanks. But this is nearly a year old. I think the newer batches of home tests have been upgraded. What I was reading was very recent.

I think the tests are iffy, & technique isn't always spot on. I guess we're stuck for now.
